Think Globally Act Locally (Pensare Globalmente Agire Localmente) is a voluntary organization (VO) with civic and socially useful aims. It was set up to promote the United Nations’ “Agenda 2030”, an action plan signed by 193 states, which includes 17 interdisciplinary sustainable development goals, to be achieved by 2030.
The Agenda integrates and interconnects all areas of sustainable development, analysing the economic, environmental and social impacts, and intersecting cultural and behavioural systems on which life patterns are built.
The association is committed to promoting interdisciplinary transformation projects, cultural and artistic events.
The association has adopted the symbol of the “Third Paradise” by Michelangelo Pistoletto, international artist and honorary president of the association. A symbol that has become a practical and operational tool, an organisational manual for real actions of change, just as Michelangelo Pistoletto himself did in his manifesto, “Ominiteismo e Demopaxia”.
