Car and Parking Areas

Given the dimension and the duration of the ZTL (Zona a traffico limitato – Limited Traffic Zone of the city centre) from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm Mondays to Fridays, and from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm on Saturdays, we do not recommend you use your private car, considering that in the city centre you can easily access everything on foot and that there are many electric mini-buses connecting the various zones.

Various parking areas located in the immediate vicinity of Fortezza da Basso:

– Fortezza Fiera Car Park, (Piazzale Caduti nei Lager)

– Santa Maria Novella Car Park, (Piazza della Stazione) open 24 hours a day and located under the central railway station.
