Qatar International Art Festival is the distinctive art event in the region that connects the artists worldwide. In tandem with other programs, it is extremely important to bring global art expert, connoisseur, art critic and art academician in the region together on the shared platform.
QIAF provides a Global platform for local and international artists. ART is a great way to reach a wider audience and form part of an international community that works for the evolution of contemporary Art. QIAF is a festival for all Artists by providing a new horizon to promote their Art worldwide, sell and to expand their circle of contacts with people who share this challenges and experiences.
It’s an amazing experience to meet people from different part of the world and share the common platform under common roof with their own creations.
QIAF provides each artist its identity in Qatar and worldwide through Media, Press, etc. Studies show that there is a correlation between art and other achievement. Through QIAF, there is a stage for learning of new space, great network, meeting art experts and influencers one-on- one, Sharpening Art skills, explore new ways of creation and many more. Art is a significant and universal language for artist.
The 3rd edition of the Qatar International Art Festival 2021 (QIAF), one of the largest art festivals in Qatar is scheduled to be held at Katara Cultural Village, Doha, Qatar in October 2021.
The festival helps many international artists in gaining recognition. In 2010, Qatar was declared a cultural country of the region. The festival provides a good exposure to the visiting artists to the beautiful country of Qatar.
During the 6 days of festival, a total eight events including painting and sculpture Exhibition, Live Painting Symposium, Artistic Fashion Show, Master classes, Cultural Talks & Panel discussion, Qatar Cultural Tour and Cultural Dinner night.
The festival offers benefits to participants, including promotion of their work, opportunity and publication with print, electronic, digital, and social media, interaction with invited art collectors, art investors, potential buyers and many more exposures.
More than 300 artists from over 65 countries are registered to participate with QIAF 2021. As Qatar has been becoming a hub of cultural and art related activities, more and more artist wants to come to the country. The festival started growing towards its peak along with support of also galleries and government institutions like Katara Cultural Village-as a cultural partner, Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science along with the UNESCO office for GCC and Yemen as the festival Partners.
