The Court of Pistoia, for the year 2023, has organised the art contest "Petrocchi - Berlinghieri Art Contest 2022-2023", inspired by the theme "Living for Justice: Passion, Commitment and Sacrifice" involving the fourth and fifth-grade classes of the Liceo Artistico P. Petrocchi of Pistoia and G. Sismondi - A. Pacinotti - Liceo Artistico B. Berlinghieri of Pescia. The students were asked to create figurative works to be executed using any technique in the field of painting, graphics, writing or photography, with the aim of disseminating among young people the values of Justice to be promoted as guidelines to refer to in the daily difficulties of life. Despite the complexity of the theme, the initiative met with wide and enthusiastic adhesion, leading to the production of interesting and stylistically profound works, prompting young people to reflect on the values of Justice. The organisers of the competition were the Court of Pistoia, the National Association of Magistrates (ANM), Pistoia subsection, and the Lawyers' Group at the Library of the Court of Pistoia in collaboration with the Florence Biennale: the five first prize winners participated in the XIV edition in an exhibition space dedicated to the project.
