Han Yuchen, former Member of the National People's Congress of China, is an artist with the title of researcher at the China Academy of Art.   
Born in 1954, he entered the workforce at the age of sixteen, devoting himself to the promotion of fine arts. Since 1972, he has been successively taught by Professors Li Hua, Su Gaoli and Liang Yulong of the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China, as well as the renowned painter Zhang Wenxin. He has held individual exhibitions at institutions such as the National Museum of China, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Lens, the Uccle Art Centre in Brussels, as well as at the Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome, the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence and the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.
His works have been selected for prestigious events and received major awards, including the painting 'La Pastora' which won first prize at the 152nd Salon des beaux arts, and 'Brother and Sister' which won third prize at the 225th Salon des beaux arts.
His works have been acquired by the National Museum of China, the National Art Museum of China, former French President Sarkozy and various other important political figures and art institutions. 
He has published various writings including: "Collection of Oil Paintings, Collection of Still Lifes, Sparks of Perception - Talking about Art", "Pure of Mind in Pursuit of Dreams - Sixty Years of Persistence in Art", "Snowy Dreams - Photo Album of Tibetan Landscapes", as well as the poetry collections "The Feelings of the Cuckoo" and "Wandering the Sky".

Within the XII Florence Biennale 2019, Han Yuchen received the 'Lorenzo il Magnifico' Special Award from the President.
