Regina Schrecker made her debut at a very young age as a top model, when she walked the catwalks of the great masters of haute couture in Rome, Florence and Paris. Central European by training and cultural background, cosmopolitan and international by education, an artist by tradition and family heritage, it was in Italy, in Florence, that she discovered her true, great passion: creating fashion. Her fashion, launched as a label in 1980, quickly reached the highest levels and Regina soon became one of the young hopes of Italian fashion. In 1983, while passing through New York, she met up with her lifelong friend, the great pop artist Andy Warhol, who dedicated to her, in memory of their friendship, an extraordinary pair of portraits that became the 'icons' of his label, and photographed her for the cover of 'Interview' magazine.
In the 1990s, she turned her attention to the emerging markets, the countries of the East and the Orient: Regina Schrecker was one of the first designer labels to take the message of Italian fashion to countries such as Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Japan and China, as far as Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia. In 2000, she created the theatrical costumes for "Madama Butterfly", an opera presented at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago and subsequently on a world tour, up to representing Italy at the International Expo in Aichi/Nagoya (Japan 2005). In recent years, Regina Schrecker has successfully continued the activities of her label, including the new collections of the bridal line, regularly presented at the most important Bridal Fashion Weeks, from Milan to Barcelona and New York, the new Bijoux collection (2015) and the new Make-up line, launched in 2016.

Regina Schrecker was Guest of Honour at the XI Florence Biennale 2017 and has been a member of the International Jury since 2019.
