INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL COMPETITION: WINNERS AND FINALISTS
We are glad to announce winners and finalists of the ART category of the International Open Call Competition in collaboration with Art Market Magazine and Lens Magazine.
Artists and photographers participating in the competition were invited to interpret the theme of the XIV Florence Biennale, which will be held from 14 to 22 October 2023 at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy:
I AM YOU. Individual and Collective Identities in Contemporary Art and Design
The works of the contest winners will be used for the integrated communication of the event (mass media, internet, outdoor advertising, etc.) and exhibited in a dedicated space within the XIV Florence Biennale, while the works of the finalists will be projected in rotation within the same space. The winners will also receive the Guests of Honour recognition during the event.
We would like to remind you that all the artists and designers participating in the XIV Florence Biennale 2023 compete for the assignment of the 'Lorenzo il Magnifico' International Award for art (5 awards for each of the 12 categories in the competition) and the 'Leonardo da Vinci' International Award for design. The winners will be selected during the days of the Florence Biennale and awarded by the International Jury. The award ceremony will take place on 22 October 2023.
Please note that applications to participate in the XIIV Florence Biennale are open until 31 May 2023.
