Paula Scher - FB

In 2019, the Florence Biennale's International "Leonardo da Vinci" Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Paula Scher for her innovative contribution to the world of graphic design for over four decades.

Paula Scher is considered one of the world's most influential graphic designers. Since 1991, she has been a leading figure at Pentagram (New York), the most distinguished international design consultancy, where she has created branding campaigns, environmental graphics, packaging, and publications for a wide range of clients including, to name a few, Citibank, Microsoft, Bloomberg, Shake Shack, the Museum of Modern Art, Tiffany & Co, the High Line, the Public Theater, the Metropolitan Opera, the Sundance Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. 

Throughout her career Paula Scher has received hundreds of major awards, such as the "National Design Award for Communication Design", or the "AIGA medal and the Chrysler Award for Innovation in Design".
Scher served on the Public Design Commission of the City of New York from 2006 to 2015. She is an established artist who exhibits worldwide and several of her works are in the permanent collections of some of the world's most important museums: Museum of Modern Art, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, Library of Congress, Victoria and Albert Museum to name a few. Netflix dedicated the documentary "The Art of Design" to her and her work, which can be seen in the 2017 series Abstract.
