The fourth edition of the Florence Biennale paid tribute to Ferrari, a symbol of Italian creativity and ingenuity in the world, with the awarding of the International "Lorenzo il Magnifico" Award for Design.

Among the paintings, sculptures and installations of the 2003 edition were some of the masterpieces of the historic car manufacturer from Maranello, such as the 125 S, the first Ferrari car (1947); the 250 LM, the first rear-engine car that started an era (1963); the famous F40 supercar (1987); the Enzo Ferrari produced in only 399 examples (2002), symbolising the evolution of Ferrari's technique and style.

The presence of Luca Matteoni, President of the Ferrari Club Italia, underlined the involvement of all those professionals, entrepreneurs, collectors and drivers who are associated with the world's most prestigious automobile association. This gave rise to exclusive meeting opportunities and offered the rare opportunity to participate in Ferrari's most important events.

With the exhibition at the Florence Biennale, visitors were able to get a glimpse of what Ferrari's most passionate customers have always had at their disposal through a privileged key to the history and life of the Maranello marque: the Ferrari Club Italia. From Formula 1 Grand Prix to the presentation of the single-seaters, from the modern Challenge races to those dedicated to historic racing cars, Club members have a wealth of opportunities to experience at first hand the vicissitudes of the Scuderia, its drivers and the entire Ferrari world.
