We are glad to announce that Prof. Luigi Trenti (Trenti Design) joined the Curatorial Board of the XIIIth Florence Biennale, which will be held from 23 to 31 October 2021 at Fortezza da Basso, Florence.
Luigi Trenti was born in Florence in 1965. Graduated in Design from the faculty of Architecture, he has been working as product designer since 1992, spanning lighting, interior design, and luxury accessories for Italian e international customers. His products obtained several acknowledgements in the field of design and some of them have been considered as true trendsetters.
In 2006 he founded Tuscan delegation of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) and the Osservatorio Territoriale per il Design (Regional Observatory for Design), while in 2013 he projected and founded Mu De To – Museo del Design Toscano (Museum of Tuscan Design), of which he is President. He has been engaged in educational activities since more than 10 years, holding courses at important schools and universities such as ISIA, IED e LABA.
