The XV Florence Biennale hosts the exhibition "Florent in Auro. Jewels for the Golden Rose of Pius II", curated by Prof. Paolo Torriti, Director of the Executive Master in History, Design and Marketing of Jewellery at the University of Siena – Arezzo Campus. The exhibition presents a selection of works created by the Master’s students as the outcome of a program that combines historical research, design practice, and collaboration with the renowned goldsmith district of Arezzo.
This year’s theme, the Golden Rose presented by Pope Pius II to the city of Siena in 1458, inspired the students to develop original projects: from sketches to prototypes, later realized in cooperation with jewellery companies and workshops during their final internships. The Executive Master offers an interdisciplinary approach to jewellery – history, goldsmith techniques, design, and marketing – training versatile professionals able to combine creativity with business expertise. The exhibition reflects this experience, showcasing jewellery that merges tradition and innovation.
