Contemporary art will be present at the Florence Art and Restoration Fair from 13 to 15 November at the Fortezza da Basso with an exhibition entitled Il Tempio dell'Arte Contemporanea - Ricerca, sperimentazione e tecnica nella produzione del contemporaneo, a poly-thematic event curated by the Florence Biennale and the Association Art. Art Impruneta - Florence.
A contemporary exhibition that will be developed around three distinct themes: Contemporary Visions on Society, History and Industry, with the four artists Giuseppe Gavazzi, Thomas Quintavalle, Sary Haddad and Verteramo; Seismic Phenomenon, with a contribution by the President of the Florence Biennale, Pasquale Celona; and The Archaeology of the Sea.
A selection of artists will also be exhibited in the exhibition spaces of the Salon, in the commercial area. Florence Biennale will also address the delicate issue of the conservation of contemporary works of art in the Talk entitled Paradigmi Indiziari per Nuove Metodologie del Restauro nel Contemporaneo (Friday 14 November, 5.45 pm in the Talking Corner of the Salone dell'Arte e del Restauro), with the participation of Rolando Bellini, Artistic Director of Florence Biennale, Melanie Zefferino, curator, archivist and conservator and Roberta Verteramo, restorer and performing artist.
