From 17 to 25 October, the Fortezza da Basso in Florence will become the ‘city of artists’ with the 10th edition of the Florence Biennale 2015 - International Exhibition of Contemporary Art.
Artists from over thirty countries have already confirmed their participation in the 10th Florence Biennale.
In order to allow more artists who are also interested in participating the Florence Biennale for submitting their applications, the original deadline for applications (scheduled for 31 May) has been extended to 21 August 2015.
We would like to remind you that from this year it is also possible to apply for three new artistic categories - ceramics, textile art and art jewellery - which join those already consolidated over the years: painting, sculpture, works on paper, photography, installation, video art, digital art, mixed media, performance.
In the meantime, the International Selection Committee is still evaluating the applications already received, screening the works and the artistic curriculum.
