Contemporary Perspectives
Contemporary Perspectives is the title of the series of meetings promoted by the ‘Per Boboli’ Association and the Florence Biennale's Linea Spazio Arte Contemporanea gallery. An opportunity for discussion and debate not only on Contemporary Art as such, but above all on the capacity it has to fit into everyday life and relate to different spheres, especially the social fabric of our cities.
Six events are scheduled from October 2014 to May 2015, structured in two different ways: two walks ‘in art’ to discover symbolic places in Tuscany will be the setting for a cycle of four meetings that will alternate at the Linea Spazio Arte Contemporanea Gallery (Via delle Porte nuove, 10) and other prestigious Florentine venues.
In the presence of authoritative experts and established artists called upon to share their experience and expertise, participants will be invited to exchange ideas and opinions. Various themes will be addressed in each of the four appointments: The Economy of Contemporary Art, Historic Gardens and Contemporary Art, Contemporary Art in Schools, and the Restoration of Contemporary Art.
