From 29 September to 26 November 2017, MACRO Testaccio hosted Franca Pisani's solo exhibition ‘Archaeological Code - The Recovery of Beauty’, curated by Duccio Trombadori, promoted by Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Crescita culturale - Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali.
At the same time as her participation in the ‘57th Venice Art Biennale’, where her works are an integral part of an exhibition dedicated to Palmyra ‘the Bride of the Desert’, from 29 September to 26 November 2017, the Tuscan artist played a leading role in the solo exhibition held in the MACRO Testaccio spaces in Rome. The exhibition, which uses large ‘canvases’, bears witness to Franca Pisani's in-depth study of the memory of certain primordial elements of human history.
