FB LAB: Florence Biennale's new multifunctional space is born in Florence

In anticipation of the 11th Florence Biennale - International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, whose 20th anniversary edition will be held from 6 to 15 October at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, the Florence Biennale LAB, a new multifunctional and multifaceted space, suitable for high-profile public and private events, has been created in Florence (at Via delle Porte Nuove 10, in the Porta al Prato area).

The presentation of Florence Biennale LAB is scheduled for Saturday, 11 March, at 5 p.m. with free admission, together with an exhibition of a selection of works from the gallery; afterwards, the Florence Biennale LAB managers will be pleased to toast the success of the initiative with the participants, in the presence of a live performance by Edoardo Teani (double bass) and Giacomo Tongiani (marimba).

For the occasion, it will be possible to admire a selection of works by various artists in the gallery: the Brazilians Elizabeth Almendra and Carlos Araujo, the Japanese Yasumichi Nakagawa, the Dutch Wessel Huismann; and the Italians Franca Pisani, Giampaolo Talani, Vincenzo Calli, Sauro Cavallini, Pasquale Celona, Nilo Australi and Diego Gabriele.
