We are glad to announce that we established a partnership with ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale Delegazione Toscana and ADI Design Museum, which will exhibit works awarded with the “Compasso d’Oro” at the XIII Florence Biennale (23-31 October 2021, Fortezza da Basso, Florence, Italy), themed “Eternal Feminine | Eternal Change. Concepts of Femininity in Contemporary Art and Design”.
Since 1956, ADI has brought together designers, companies, researchers, teachers, critics, journalists around the themes of design: design, consumption, recycling, training. It is the protagonist of the development of industrial design as a cultural and economic phenomenon. Since 1958, ADI has been managing the Compasso d’Oro Award, the oldest recognition in Europe in the design sector. The ADI Compasso d’Oro Collection Foundation collects the objects awarded in the various editions of the award and the related documentation, takes care of their conservation, promotes historical research and in-depth exhibitions.
