24 february 2010 - Special Events "Biennale Effect" - For those artists that have participated in the Biennale, Arte Studio is organizing cultural and commercial events both in public and privates spaces, in Italy and outside. The exhibition spaces will be selected among the most prestigious, in order to develop new opportunities between artists and those that promote and appreciate art.

27/01/09 - The Florence Biennale is glad to announce it's collaboration with Li Daoliu, director of tom.com one of the most powerfull information channels in internet in China. Through tom.com the Florence Biennale will be promoted to the millions of chinese visitors that follow this website every day.



15/12/08 - The Florence Biennale is pleased to inform that for the next edition 2009, we are projecting an area dedicated to China. The gallerist Hongbin Zhang new member of the Scientific International Committee, director of the Qingdao Modern Art Gallery has kindly invited us to meet the highest representatives in the art field, in the recent trip to Beijing.
We met two of the most famous Chinese artists, first Shu Yong who’s been invited as an honor guest and who will be exhibiting some of his paintings dedicated to Chinese Myths in the next Florence Biennale edition 2009 and we also met Huang Yan, most known for his traditional Chinese paintings done on various model’s bodies.
We also had a meeting with Pang Bang Ben, a respectable artist and professor that has been invited to be part of the International Jury and we are here pleased to welcome him. The Chinese specialized press and most precisely, Hong Art Magazine and Gallery Magazine will dedicate a space in their next edition due in December 08, where the interviews done will be published, we are already visible on the Chinese tv online website visited by around one million people every day. These magazines will also dedicate a space both in English and Chinese editions, during the Florence Biennale 2009 and will be media partners of the event.



12/04/08 - The Florence Biennale thanks Emanuel von Lauestein Massarani for his collaboration as Artistic Director of the Biennale 2007. We are pleased to announce the new Director Stefano Francolini for the next edition 2009. Stefano Francolini is an Art Historian, Former Director Coordinator C3 Super for the Ministry of Culture Actvities, he has been part of the Jury from the first edition on.



In attesa della sesta edizione della Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporanea di Firenze, 27 artisti olandesi che parteciperanno alla Biennale espongono le loro opere in due diverse sedi in Olanda.



The Award “Lorenzo il Magnifico”, the highest recognition of the Biennale, will be given to Gilbert & George, for the 2007 Edition. The 4th of December together with Tim Marlow, Exhibitions Director of the White Cube Gallery in London, Gilbert & George will meet the artists and public of the Biennale.
