12/04/08 - The Florence Biennale thanks Emanuel von Lauestein Massarani for his collaboration as Artistic Director of the Biennale 2007. We are pleased to announce the new Director Stefano Francolini for the next edition 2009. Stefano Francolini is an Art Historian, Former Director Coordinator C3 Super for the Ministry of Culture Actvities, he has been part of the Jury from the first edition on.

Pasquale Celona, President of the Biennale, has announced the establishment of a cooperative relationship with the Triennale of India, the most important contemporary art exhibition in Asia. The Triennale of India is organized by the Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi every three years under the auspices of the Indian Ministry of Culture.
