FLORENCE BIENNALE’S GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR THE 2017 EDITION IS THE WINNING PROJECT OF A STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION
Two hands give shape to a tree trunk while embracing its green shaded crown: that is the graphic design adopted by the Florence Biennale for their XIth edition, which celebrates twenty years of activity.
With that image, which virtually stems from the collaboration between the Florence Biennale and the International Comics School of Florence, Chiara Bruni (born in Siena in 1988) won the competition reserved to the students of the Academy of Visual and Digital art of Florence.
Within the framework of that contest, many young talents have represented their own vision of the theme ‘eARTh: Creativity & Sustainability’. All the projects designed for the Florence Biennale will be displayed at the Fortezza da Basso, Padiglione Spadolini, in the exhibition space hosting the International Comics School of Florence.
